Best time for planning to have a baby??

Of course there is no right or wrong time to conceive. you can think of it at any time and any age. But definitely certain time and age is best for planning your pregnancy. Though the best decision is to get pregnant as early as possible. But on the other hand when a baby comes he/she comes with lot of responsibilities for mom and dad. So, if you are planning for a baby you should also give a glance to some other relevant issues such as whether you have time for your baby, your financial stability etc. And it’s true! these issues cannot be sought out perfectly. never ever. So don’t wait for perfect time. These issues are adjustable but planning for a healthy baby as early as possible is the most important.

Why timing is important?

Women are not fertile forever. Fertility (the ability to get pregnant) declines with age. A woman is born with all the eggs she’ll ever have—about 1 to 2 million. As soon as a girl hits puberty she starts releasing those eggs and menstruating and she can get pregnant. So those numbers decline with age as there is no production of new eggs. The quality of the eggs also reduces over time. That’s why the chances of getting pregnant also reduces over time.

It is the best to get pregnant in your 20s. In 20s women are most fertile with highest number of quality eggs and lowest pregnancy risk. It is the best time for conceiving. In 20s there is lower risk of high blood pressure, miscarriage, gestational diabetes and other health complications. And also lower risk to have low birthweight or premature babies.

When you are a teenager your body is super fertile. But a teenage girl is not mature enough physically and mentally to carry a child.

Fertility (the ability to get pregnant) starts to decline at 32 and it speeds up after 37. By 45 years, fertility declines so much that it is unusual to getting pregnant naturally. It doesn’t mean you can’t give birth of a healthy child in your thirties. But if you conceive in your thirties, it may come with some complications and risks. Medical conditions, like diabetes and high blood pressure, are more common in women after age 35. That’s why Risk for miscarriage, stillbirth, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes and genetic abnormalities increases after 35. And You might also face some complications in your pregnancy or during delivery.

Summary

Over time, the quantity and quality of your eggs decline. Older eggs can have more chromosome problems, which increases the odds of having a baby with a birth defect. Although these complications can happen to anyone at any age but after 35 the risks increase to a great extent. So, biologically, 20s is the best the decade for conceiving and carrying a baby.
